Tender Hearts for a Special Child
Attention all prospective adoptive couples.
We may need your help. The Adoption Center will have custody of a very sick baby in the next few days. She is suffering from some serious problems that we understand are not life threating at this time. The test being done have not come back conclusive from the geneticist yet. We will be looking for a family to place her with very soon. If you are open to such an adoption please let us know. There maybe some additional medical costs in he future.
I will keep you posted in the coming days.

Inter-Country Adoptions
We have had some wonderful couples outside of the United States recently contact us about a possible adoption plan. Unfortunately there are some limitations regarding inter-country adoptions as dictated by the Hague Adoption Convention. All prospective adoptive family homestudies outside of the US must be completed before April 1st 2008 before an adoptive family can be considered for placement.

Birthmothers Seek Our Help for Second Time
Our agency is currently working with 10 birthmothers this month who have come back for the second time. Many of these women commented that they feel "appreciated, cared for, safe, and secure" during their pregnancy. We are grateful to have an opportunity to provide quality services for these women and others like them through our outreach and birthmother programs.

Tender Feelings of the Heart
The Adoption Center is currrently working with four birthmothers this week/end in Oaklahoma, California, North Carolina, and Louisiana. Two of the birthmothers have recently given birth so we have two social workers flying out to see them over the memorial day weekend to help them through the adoptive process while two more are due very soon.
Our agency understands the difficult decisions these woman are making and have a love and appreciation for them. Our prospective adoptive couples are grateful for the opportunity to add to their families and care for and raise these sweet little ones on their behalf
More on this over the weekend
